Gil Abed  has vast experience in representing the interests of public entities and private companies in San Diego, Imperial and Riverside Counties. Gil serves as both litigation and general counsel in a wide range of claims that confront public entities from complex employment matters to personal injury, contractual and property issues. In litigation Gil has prosecuted and defended Superior and Federal Court cases through jury verdict and appeals.
He has handled cases ranging from employment discrimination matters, harassment, retaliation and disability discrimination, as well as contractual matters and other torts.
In addition, Gil has represented school districts in administrative proceedings before the Office of Administrative Hearings. Gil continuously provides school districts and other employers opinions and legal advice on policies, procedures and employment regulations. Gil also drafted employee-training manuals and conducts seminars for school districts. Topics include avoiding litigation and risk management, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, special education, sexual harassment and training to avoid discrimination.
Gil is admitted to all State Courts in California, as well as the Southern and Northern District Courts. He is also a member of the San Diego Defense Lawyers
